Ways to give

We  now have contactless machines which can take donations  of any amount for offertory and  second collections.  These machines are available at the weekend masses or at request during the week.
While we no longer pass the collection basket round at Mass, (following Covid 19), it is also possible to leave donations (cheques payable to  Holy Name) at Mass or in the parish office.    DONATEFor online donations  please click here

Monthly standing orders is the preferred method of giving.  Please  download form from the link below or contact the Parish Finance Office

Gift Aid

Gift Aid increases the value of your donations and means that Holy Name can benefit even more at no extra cost to you provided you are a UK taxpayer and pay sufficient Income Tax (and/or Capital Gains Tax).  Holy Name can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift, currently 25p for every £1 you give if you complete the Gift Aid form above and give it to the Parish Office.

Higher rate tax payers can claim additional tax benefits for donations they make to charity.  Simply indicate how much you have donated when completing your tax self-assessment form.

Please note that the donor must pay an amount of income tax (and/or Capital Gains Tax) for a tax year ending 5th April at least equal to the tax repayment claimed on their donations by all charities (and Community Amateur Sports Clubs) to whom the donor donates in that tax year.  Any other tax paid other than Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.  Please also note that if you have paid insufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax in any one tax year then you are responsible for repaying any shortfall to HMRC
