The Pope will visit the UK on 16-19 September.   The main reason for his visit is for the Beatification of Cardinal Newman which will take place in the Midlands on Sunday 19th September at 10.00 am.  On Saturday 18th September he will make a brief early evening appearance in London, probably Hyde Park - having driven on his Popemobile through London. "Pilgrim Passes" for both events have been allocated throughout the Diocese through each Parish.  Access to both events must be in parish groups (Birmingham by coach and Hyde Park by public transport). More details will be given out at the beginning of September.
